Job summary

EY-Parthenon seeks a Growth Platforms AI ML Engineering Director to design, build, and scale AI solutions powering strategic growth for F500 clients. You’ll lead a team of engineers and collaborate with business leaders, data scientists, and project managers to translate business needs into end‑to‑end AI workflows and production‑ready ML systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, CS, Analytics, or related field with 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with ~3 years.
• Full‑time hands‑on experience applying AI/ML to real‑world problems.
• Familiarity with multi‑modal agent frameworks (LangChain, Haystack, RAG pipelines).
• Expertise in vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma), retrieval systems, and LLM fine‑tuning.
• Strong understanding of real‑world structured data merging, schema linking, and model evaluation at scale.
• Strong ML workflow understanding from data ingestion to production evaluation.
• Fluency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, with ability to architect APIs around ML models.
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining ML models, frameworks, and pipelines.
• Experience leading cross‑functional business/engineering teams to deliver complex solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end AI/ML component delivery from prototype to production (REST APIs, dashboards, embedded agents).
• Translate business needs into executable AI workflows and guide a high‑performing team of engineers and contractors.
• Define end‑to‑end architecture for agents integrating LLMs, RAG, multi‑source data, and analytics.
• Mentor junior engineers, perform model/code reviews, and refine LOE, scope and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and DevOps on pipeline integration, data normalization, and deployment.
