About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join us.

Responsibilities

• Leads the strategic implementation of AI-driven automation and predictive analytics, ensuring alignment with mission requirements.
• Evaluates emerging AI technologies, enhances AI-powered risk management frameworks, and drives the integration of AI into network operations and security functions.
• Works closely with network engineers to implement Intent-Based Networking using Cisco Catalyst Center, leveraging its AI capabilities to automate network discovery, performance optimization, and policy enforcement across multi-vendor environments.
• Responsible for training and mentoring teams on AI model development, deployment, and ethical AI practices.
• Ensures that the network infrastructure remains agile, secure, and resilient against evolving threats while maximizing automation and efficiency.
• Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
• Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
• Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
• Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
• Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
• Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
• May supervise others.
• Software Developer, Systems Software - Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements.
• May design embedded systems software. Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
