Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Data Science Consultant 2 to design, develop, and deploy ML and Generative AI solutions, leveraging Python, SAS, and R. You will build scalable analytics pipelines, manage model lifecycles, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven results.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, train, evaluate, and deploy Machine Learning and Generative AI models.
• Build and optimize AI/ML pipelines for data preparation, feature engineering, model training, and inference.
• Develop and maintain MLOps frameworks for model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Implement and deploy Large Language Model (LLM) and Generative AI solutions using modern AI frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML development frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning algorithms, model training, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience building and deploying Generative AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
• Strong understanding of MLOps concepts, model lifecycle management, CI/CD, and model monitoring.
• Experience with cloud-based AI/ML platforms and deployment environments.
• Knowledge of API development, containerization, and scalable AI application architectures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop data preparation tasks and detect patterns or anomalies.
• Ensure data readiness for advanced modeling.
• Develop models for complex use cases including forecasting and LLM-based solutions.
• Test and optimize algorithms for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Design and develop predictive models and data-driven analyses for business challenges.
• Build, evaluate, deploy models, standardize code, and contribute to knowledge management.
• Leverage SAS and R/Python to create reusable customizations for ML and non-ML tasks.
• Define analytics problems and execute visualization, analysis, and predictive modeling.
