Job summary

UST is seeking an AI ML Engineer (ML Engineer I) in Texas to design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and AI/ML solutions. You will work with product, architecture, and security teams to deliver production-ready, secure, and observable systems.

The role requires deep learning, Python, and modern web stacks, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms. Compensation ranges from $72,000 to $108,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Deep learning, ML/AI, data science background.
• Proficient in Python (3.x) enterprise development.
• Experience with FastAPI/Flask/Django and RESTful APIs.
• Containerization with Docker; orchestration with Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based backend services.
• Build and integrate AI/ML and LLM-driven solutions and data pipelines.
• Develop modern UI apps with Angular/React and secure APIs.
• Deploy and optimize containerized workloads on Kubernetes (KOB).
• Implement end-to-end DevOps, security-by-design, and observability.
