Benzinga is hiring an AI / Machine Learning Engineer to take models from notebook to production. You will build Go and Python backends for scalable ML systems, focusing on NLP, time-series forecasting, and financial data analytics.

The role emphasizes deploying ML models, building RAG pipelines, and maintaining end-to-end ML workflows with Docker/Kubernetes on AWS. Remote-friendly, autonomous team culture offers strong ownership and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience deploying ML models in production.
• Computer science degree (Bachelor minimum).
• Deep proficiency in Python and Go.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face.
• Experience with transformer architectures, embeddings, or fine-tuning LLMs.
• Data pipelines, feature extraction, and model lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS (EKS, S3, Lambda).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and deploy ML models across NLP, time-series forecasting, and event detection.
• Build LLM-driven systems (summarization, RAG, embedding search) for financial news.
• Develop model serving APIs and scalable inference layers in Go or Python.
• Implement model monitoring, drift detection, and retraining pipelines.
• Work with financial text to extract structured insights.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build training datasets and feature stores.
• Develop and maintain high-performance microservices that integrate with AI systems.
• Design real-time inference pipelines on AWS (ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda).
• Ensure low-latency, fault-tolerant delivery of AI-powered data.
