Job summary

James Search Group is partnering with a top-tier global property & casualty insurer to hire an AI/ML Engineer for their enterprise Data and Artificial Intelligence division in New York. You will build, refine, and deploy predictive models, tackle real-world data, and collaborate with business and IT teams to scale models that improve underwriting, claims, and customer engagement.

Qualifications

Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, CS, or related; Ph.D. a plus.
2+ years applying advanced analytics: trees, regression, neural nets, RFs.
Proficiency in Python or R for analytics and model development.
Ability to manage large datasets and end-to-end data modeling.
Strong communication to translate analytics to business strategy.

Responsibilities

Support development and deployment of AI/ML models including classification, forecasting, uplift, and tuning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify use cases improving efficiency and performance.
Partner with business, IT, and strategy to ensure scalable, impactful models.
Communicate analytical findings clearly to stakeholders with varying technical levels.
