Job summary

Papigen in the United States is seeking an AI/ML Engineer III to lead GenAI agentic architectures and enterprise-grade AI solutions. You will shape reference architectures, governance, and secure integrations, driving MLOps and AIOps practices in collaboration with stakeholders.

The role requires deep expertise in agentic AI, LLMs, Azure cloud, and scalable design patterns, with responsibility for end-to-end delivery from concept through production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution or enterprise architecture with AI focus.
• Proven delivery of enterprise-scale AI/GenAI systems.
• Strong knowledge of governance, Responsible AI, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement GenAI solutions for single-agent and multi-agent systems.
• Serve as architectural authority ensuring enterprise standards.
• Define agent orchestration patterns including memory, planning, tools, collaboration.
• Develop AI reference architectures (RAG, tool-augmented agents).
• Lead decisions in Agile/SAFe environments.
• Evaluate enterprise AI platforms, LLMs, orchestration tools.
• Design secure integrations with data platforms and identity systems.
• Ensure governance, privacy, auditability, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Provide hands-on leadership through POCs, reviews, production support.
• Drive DevSecOps, MLOps, and LLMOps adoption.

Role Summary

This senior role provides architectural leadership for enterprise-grade GenAI and agentic systems. The consultant bridges business objectives, AI capabilities, and enterprise platforms to ensure responsible, secure, and scalable AI adoption.

Scope Of Work & Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement single-agent and multi-agent GenAI solutions.
• Serve as the architectural authority ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
• Define agent orchestration patterns including planning, memory, tool use, and collaboration.
• Develop AI reference architectures (RAG, tool-augmented agents, event-driven workflows).
• Lead architectural decisions in Agile and SAFe environments.
• Evaluate and select enterprise-ready AI platforms, LLMs, and orchestration tools.
• Design secure integrations with APIs, data platforms, and identity systems.
• Ensure AI governance, privacy, auditability, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Provide hands‑on leadership through POCs, reviews, and production troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 10 years in solution or enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML or GenAI systems.
• Deep expertise in agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, and vector databases.
• Strong cloud experience (Azure preferred) including hybrid architectures.
• Solid software engineering foundation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Responsible AI, governance, and compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
