Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer Level 2 to design, develop, test, and deploy advanced AI/ML models for mission-critical government needs. The role covers lifecycle from dataset selection to deployment and sustainment, including data pipelines and model performance optimization.

The candidate should have experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow, strong analytical skills, and ability to collaborate across software, data science, and mission stakeholder teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, testing, evaluating, and deploying AI/ML algorithms.
• Experience supporting applied ML initiatives in government or similar complex programs.
• Experience selecting datasets for model training, testing, and evaluation.
• Experience performing statistical analysis to identify patterns and support model development.
• Experience implementing and executing ML algorithms.
• Experience using model evaluation results to improve performance.
• Experience training, retraining, fine-tuning, and optimizing ML models.
• Experience with ML libraries/frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience conducting model testing, verification, and validation.
• Experience overseeing iterative AI/ML testing and evaluation activities.
• Experience transforming data science prototypes into scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain AI/ML models to meet customer and mission requirements.
• Select datasets for model development, training, and evaluation.
• Perform statistical analysis to assess data characteristics and patterns.
• Train, retrain, and optimize ML models based on evaluation results.
• Apply ML methodologies to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Research and implement a broad range of AI/ML algorithms and tools.
• Evaluate model architectures and recommend solutions meeting requirements.
• Develop scalable ML solutions for operational workloads.
• Document model development processes and configurations.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate ML models into enterprise apps.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and integration of ML models.
