Job summary

Markon is seeking an AI/ML Engineer 2 to support the Fort Meade Customer through design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML solutions. This role applies machine learning, deep learning, and data science to solve mission challenges and enable data-driven decision making.

The position works closely with software engineers, data scientists, and mission stakeholders to develop scalable, operational AI/ML capabilities and document progress through briefings and reports.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Master's or Ph.D. in a related technical field.
• 5+ years of applied ML experience in programs of similar scope.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, and deploy ML/AI models.
• Apply analytics and deep learning to mission challenges.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and insights.
• Develop, optimize, and evaluate predictive models and AI/ML algorithms.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into operational systems.
• Support model testing, validation, deployment, and lifecycle mgmt.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on AI-driven solutions.
• Create technical docs, briefings, and reports on AI/ML initiatives.
• Research emerging AI/ML technologies and propose solutions.
