Job summary

1st Edge, LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI models for government applications.

You will lead machine learning initiatives, build data pipelines, collaborate with data scientists and software engineers, and deliver reports to government partners. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a secret clearance are required; on-site work is expected at the Huntsville office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• U.S. citizen and able to obtain a secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, mathematics, or related discipline; MS/PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of AI solutions using ML, DL, NLP, and computer vision.
• Develop and maintain AI systems, including data pipelines, model training, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to integrate AI solutions.
• Provide reports and briefings on AI model performance to government partners.
• Mentor and contribute to the growth of the team.
• Collaborate with team to write technical papers and white papers.
