Job summary

CACI International seeks an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design, deploy, and operationalize advanced AI systems defending the DoD AFIN. You will lead anomaly detection using supervised and unsupervised techniques, Graph Neural Networks, and Deep Learning across 1TB+ daily logs to produce actionable intelligence with real mission impact.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Security+: or equivalent per DoD Directive 8140.01 within 6 months of hire.
• 5+ years in ML with production deployments.
• Master's in Data Science, AI, or related quantitative field.
• Deep knowledge of ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong Python; experience with ML libraries listed in tools.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources and labeling data.
• Excellent communication for non-technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy high-performance ML models processing 1TB+ daily across heterogeneous sources.
• Lead data preparation, model development, evaluation, monitoring, and retraining.
• Develop and implement state-of-the-art algorithms including hybrid GNN and BiLSTM on dynamic graphs.
• Improve model performance via feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Document analytics workflows and ensure explainability from the outset.
