D3vtechcloud is seeking an AI/ML engineer focused on generative and agentic AI. You will collaborate with senior engineers to design GenAI solutions on Google Cloud, assess client requirements, and prototype proofs of concept while staying ahead of evolving AI techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• 2 to 4 years of experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Foundations in AI/ML concepts; personal project experience with AI/ML is advantageous.
• Proficient in using AI developer tools to write clean backend code (Python, Golang, Node.js), generate unit tests, and refactor at speed.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel beyond basic prompt engineering.
• Backend tech: Python, Golang, NodeJS.
• Understanding of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Data manipulation libraries (pandas, NumPy).
• Foundations in Data Structures, OOP, Databases, and System Design.
• SQL, No-SQL, and Vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant).
• Bonus: Google Cloud AI services like BigQuery ML, Vertex AI, Document AI.
• Good understanding of microservices and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with Bitbucket or GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design GenAI solutions on Google Cloud for client projects.
• Participate in pre-sales discovery calls to evaluate client challenges and AI readiness.
• Assess client requirements and translate them into concrete AI system specs.
• Design AI architecture blueprints (RAG, agentic workflows) and prototype POCs.
• Explain GenAI concepts, trade-offs, cost models, and security considerations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and optimization of GenAI applications.
• Stay up-to-date on GenAI advancements and integrate into products.
• Act in an Agile environment with team meetings and knowledge sharing.
• Prioritize tasks and deliver with urgency.
• Learn and apply coding best practices and take initiative.

• Utilizing AI-assisted root-cause analysis and automated code review tools to reduce bug resolution times and maintain high quality
• Experience with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel, beyond basic prompt engineering
• Must have done projects in any of the following backend technologies: Python, Golang, NodeJS
• Understanding of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Experience with data manipulation libraries (pandas, NumPy).
• Strong foundation in engineering and programming concepts: Data structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Databases, and System Design.
• Good foundations in SQL, No-SQL, and Vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant, etc)
• Bonus points for experience working with Google Cloud AI services such as BigQuery ML, Vertex AI, or Document AI offerings.

• Assess functional and non-functional client requirements (latency, security, accuracy, data governance) and translate them into concrete AI system specifications.
• Design tailored AI architecture blueprints (RAG, agentic workflows, automation pipelines) and rapidly prototype Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate technical feasibility to stakeholders.
• Articulating complex GenAI concepts, trade-offs, cost models, and security considerations to both technical teams and non-technical business executives.
• Participate in the testing, debugging, and optimization of GenAI applications.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in generative AI models and techniques and identify opportunities to integrate them into existing products or develop entirely new ones.
• Actively participate in an Agile-centric environment with team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Act according to task prioritization and deliver on commitments with a sense of urgency
• Proactively learn about code and development best practices, take self-responsibility towards becoming an independent and reliable team member.
