Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related field.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid foundation in AI/ML concepts; personal AI/ML projects are a plus.
• Proficiency with AI developer tools to write backend code (Python, Golang, Node.js) and generate tests.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design GenAI solutions on Google Cloud for client projects.
• Participate in pre-sales discovery calls to evaluate business challenges and AI readiness.
• Translate functional requirements into concrete AI system specifications and architectures (RAG, agentic workflows).
• Prototype Proofs of Concept to demonstrate feasibility to stakeholders and iterate quickly.
• Stay up-to-date with GenAI advancements and integrate new techniques into products.
• Participate in Agile team environments with regular knowledge sharing and feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• 2 to 4 years of experience
• Must have strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong foundations in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning concepts. Personal project experience involving AI/ML technologies or applications would be highly advantageous.
• Proficient in using AI developer tools (e.g., Gemini Code Assist, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to write clean backend code (Python, Golang, Node.js), generate unit tests, and refactor existing codebases at accelerated speeds.
• Leveraging LLMs to quickly scaffold microservices, generate synthetic test datasets, and draft API documentation.
• Utilizing AI-assisted root-cause analysis and automated code review tools to reduce bug resolution times and maintain high quality
• Experience with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel, beyond basic prompt engineering
• Must have done projects in any of the following backend technologies: Python, Golang, NodeJS
• Understanding of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Experience with data manipulation libraries (pandas, NumPy).
• Strong foundation in engineering and programming concepts: Data structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Databases, and System Design.
• Good foundations in SQL, No-SQL, and Vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant, etc)
• Bonus points for experience working with Google Cloud AI services such as BigQuery ML, Vertex AI, or Document AI offerings.
• Good understanding of microservices and RESTful API design
• Familiarity working with version control tools such as Bitbucket or GitHub
• Should be a goal-oriented individual with integrity and a continuous drive to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop GenAI solutions on Google Cloud for client projects.
• Participate in pre-sales discovery calls with potential clients to evaluate their business challenges, technical maturity, and AI readiness.
• Assess functional and non-functional client requirements (latency, security, accuracy, data governance) and translate them into concrete AI system specifications.
• Design tailored AI architecture blueprints (RAG, agentic workflows, automation pipelines) and rapidly prototype Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate technical feasibility to stakeholders.
• Articulating complex GenAI concepts, trade-offs, cost models, and security considerations to both technical teams and non-technical business executives.
• Participate in the testing, debugging, and optimization of GenAI applications.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in generative AI models and techniques and identify opportunities to integrate them into existing products or develop entirely new ones.
• Actively participate in an Agile-centric environment with team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Act according to task prioritization and deliver on commitments with a sense of urgency
• Proactively learn about code and development best practices, take self-responsibility towards becoming an independent and reliable team member.
• Actively seek feedback from your teammates and manager, and use the feedback as a tool for growth
• Document your work clearly and concisely for future reference and collaboration.
