Job summary

SAIC is assembling an early-career AI/ML Developer team in the Solutions and Technology Group to support IC mission use cases. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site work in SCIFs and customer facilities in the Northern Virginia corridor, with remote work as needed.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field and 2+ years of software/AI/ML experience or a related master's with 0+ years. Proficiency in Python, Git, testing, and ML frameworks is expected.

Qualifications

• Foundational proficiency in Python and core software engineering practices (Git, testing, clean code).
• Hands-on exposure to major ML frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud concepts (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with front-end tools (React) for demos is a plus.
• Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Rapid PoC and demo prototyping for AI/ML applications (GenAI/LLMs, NLP, computer vision).
• Environment setup for unclassified and SCIF-based development.
• Secure deployment and MLOps, containerization and packaging models for secure environments.
• CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment to secure multi-tenant clouds (AWS/Azure).
• Prepare prototype environments for customer demonstrations and maintain clean, well-documented code.
