Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a field related to mathematics, statistics, computer science, computational science, or data science, plus four years of related experience (or combo totaling eight years).
• Master’s or Ph.D. may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new capabilities including data management systems and integrated workflows for data processing and AI/ML model development.
• Explore optical imagery data for design, development, evaluation, and application of AI/ML capabilities and edge computing.
• Develop or adapt software for optical imagery processing and web-based dashboards using Python and/or C/C++.
• Work on Google Cloud Platform to deploy models using virtual machines.
• Execute technical research projects, track progress, and present results in team meetings and reviews.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports reflecting task status and progress.
