Job description

Position: AI/ML Co-op
Number of Position(s): 1
Duration: 3 months
Date: June-August 2025
Location: Remote - U.S.

Educational Recommendations
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited university in the U.S.

• Contribute to research and development projects focused on AI/ML applications such as Large Language Models (LLMs), time series forecasting, and exploratory data analysis


• Assist in the development and evaluation of machine learning pipelines using state-of-the-art tools and real-world datasets


• Collaborate with a team of experts to explore new ideas, test solutions, and optimize models for real-world applications


• Gain exposure to cutting-edge open-source frameworks and techniques in a production-oriented cloud-native environment


• Support thought leadership and documentation related to Nokia's Network as Code developer ecosystem

• Strong Python programming skills (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, scikit-learn)


• Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers)


• Understanding of time series data and forecasting techniques


• Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) and LLMs is a strong plus


• Experience with Git and collaborative coding workflows


• Strong problem-solving and communication skills


• A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for learning

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud (GCP), AWS, or Azure


• Familiarity with the Python Django framework
