Job summary

ASM is seeking a motivated Product Intelligence, Engineering Intern to help build AI/ML analytics applications for semiconductor manufacturing in Phoenix, AZ. You will contribute to backend services, data pipelines, and APIs, while learning scalable systems and the full software lifecycle.

You will work with Go, Python, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, gRPC, Linux, and containerized apps, gaining mentorship from experienced engineers and applying academic knowledge to real industrial challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CS/Software Eng/Data Science or related field.
• Strong programming experience through coursework or projects.
• Interest in Go and/or Python and backend development.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, and testing of backend services for AI/ML analytics platform.
• Work on a defined internship project with meaningful technical deliverables and business impact.
• Write clean, reliable, well-tested code with feedback from senior engineers.
• Gain hands-on experience with telemetry data from manufacturing equipment.
