Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from the comfort of their home. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare outputs, and explain what’s off in writing.

This 1099 contract role is remote, flexible, and paid weekly. If you can think clearly under pressure and deliver concise explanations, join us to help improve real-world AI systems.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• High attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor's degree or above preferred.
• Excellent decision-making when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flicker, or mismatch audio.
• Rating each output across adherence, quality, and realism, then writing an English explanation pointing to what you saw or heard.
• Image evaluations: compare two AI-generated images for the same prompt and pick the better one.
• Video evaluations: rank AI-generated videos against a text prompt, or edited videos against their source.
• Video caption labeling: label first-person videos of tasks; create precise captions from an AI draft.
