Job summary

Odd Sox seeks an experienced AI Manager to lead the execution of the company’s AI initiatives, transforming leadership's vision into scalable, automated solutions. You will configure AI platforms, build automations, refine prompts, and integrate systems while ensuring governance and security compliance.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining AI-powered workflows, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement to align with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology, digital transformation, data analytics, or AI-related roles.
  • 2+ years of leadership or project management experience.
  • Experience implementing enterprise AI solutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the CEO's and leadership team's AI strategy through hands-on implementation.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain AI-powered workflows, automations, assistants, and operational systems.
  • Translate business requirements into practical AI solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Configure, integrate, and optimize AI platforms and third-party applications.
  • Develop and continuously refine prompts, agents, automations, templates, and knowledge bases.
  • Fine-tune existing AI systems to improve performance, reliability, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Monitor AI workflows to ensure they remain functional, effective, and aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues, resolve implementation challenges, and proactively improve existing solutions.
  • Expand AI capabilities by identifying opportunities to automate additional business processes.
  • Maintain documentation, version control, and standard operating procedures for implemented AI systems.
  • Ensure AI solutions remain scalable, organized, and maintainable over time.
  • Continuously evaluate implemented AI solutions and make enhancements based on business feedback.
  • Maintain AI system performance through regular updates, testing, optimization, and maintenance.
  • Coordinate implementation priorities across departments.
  • Support user adoption by improving usability and refining workflows.
  • Measure implementation success using operational metrics and business outcomes.
  • Ensure AI implementations comply with company policies, security requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Establish and maintain AI documentation, governance standards, and operational best practices.
  • Monitor responsible AI usage and data handling practices.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership regarding implementation priorities, operational improvements, and emerging AI capabilities.
  • Assist leadership with planning implementation timelines, resource needs, and execution roadmaps.

Job Location: Tampa, FL 33624Position Type: Full TimeThe AI Manager is responsible for executing the company's AI initiatives by transforming leadership's vision, priorities, and business objectives into operational AI solutions. This role is highly execution-focused.

This includes configuring AI platforms, developing automations, deploying new tools, refining prompts and workflows, integrating systems, testing solutions, troubleshooting issues, monitoring performance, and ensuring AI capabilities continue to evolve alongside business needs.

The remaining portion of the role focuses on governance, compliance, documentation, team coordination, and providing recommendations that improve efficiency and support leadership's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
  • Experience with change management and employee training.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
