Job summary

BioSpace seeks an AI & LLM Applications Scientist to augment scientists’ workloads by delivering AI-enabled workflows across literature review, study design, data interpretation, and reporting. You will prototype, evaluate, and deploy AI tools (frontier/open‑source models) to accelerate aging and age‑related disease research within regenerative medicine contexts.

The role requires deep AI knowledge, ability to explain complex concepts, and collaboration with bench scientists and data scientists.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of modern AI and LLMs, including limitations and deployment considerations.
• Strong foundation in computer science, ML, data science or related field, or equivalent experience applying AI in scientific domains.
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with scientists to design AI/LLM‑enabled workflows.
• Prototype and deploy AI tools to accelerate research programs.
• Work with teams to create AI‑assisted solutions that increase throughput and rigor.
• Deliver training to raise AI literacy across the organization.
• Monitor AI landscape and advise on build/buy/adopt decisions.
