SaidGig seeks an experienced attorney to help shape how advanced AI systems handle real-world legal work. You will collaborate with an AI research team to translate legal judgment into high-quality tasks, model instructions, reference solutions, and evaluation benchmarks.

The role requires a Juris Doctor and at least 5 years of post-qualification practice at a leading firm or in-house department. Hybrid, full-time in the Bay Area, CA; on-site with the client team several days per week.

Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• At least 5 years of substantive post-qualification practice at a reputable firm, corporate legal dept, regulatory body, or court.
• Active admission to at least one U.S. state bar and good standing.

Aufgaben

• Review legal knowledge-work tasks and model outputs, identifying missing behaviors and weak reasoning.
• Create instruction specifications, reference solutions, and legal tasks grounded in actual practice.
• Design legal evaluation sets and help develop legal-specific model skills and tools.
• Calibrate quality standards with researchers and adjacent-domain specialists.
