Job description

Competitive Compensation: Pay is determined by project requirements, your level of experience, and market conditions. All pay rates are in USD.

Expected pay amount: 18.00 USD per hour

This is a remote, Independent Contractor position anticipated to last up to 3 weeks with the possibility of being asked to participate in future projects based on performance. The work schedule is flexible, and workers can work part-time or full-time hours at their own discretion. Ideally, candidates will be able to work 17 hours per week or more.

HireArt is helping our client, A Leading AI Training Platform, find AI Language Trainers with high-quality written communication skills to work as an Independent Contractor. In this role, you’ll help train AI in United States Spanish by generating prompts and responses, evaluating responses, and ensuring AI models produce appropriate responses that are localized to the region.

The ideal candidate is a native speaker of Spanish in the U.S., thoroughly understands its grammar rules, and enjoys writing engaging and informative content. You should also be eager to contribute to the development of AI models.

This opportunity is fully remote and offers a flexible work schedule.

Duties

• Develop detailed prompts and responses in Spanish to familiarize AI Models with particular topics.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses in Spanish to train the model to provide optimal content.
• Review AI responses in Chilean Spanish to ensure they are accurate, applicable, and unbiased.
• Use critical and creative thinking to produce high-quality work with minimal or no supervision.
• Effectively use internal tools in English.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in the humanities or social sciences, preferably from a school located in the United States.
• Thoroughly familiar with the cultural particularities and terminology of the United States from having lived there for the majority of your life.
• Spanish: Native-level proficiency, including different writing styles, grammar, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics.
• Relevant Writing or Editing Experience on your resume/CV, such as:
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a writing field
• Professional Writing or Editing (for example, copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, translator, instructional designer)
• Creating original communications for work (for example, emails, memorandums, process documents, presentations)
• Writing as a hobby
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to precision in your work.
• Previous experience writing for Large Language Models (LLMs) is strongly preferred.
