eGain Corporation in Sunnyvale is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery of AI knowledge implementations within our Professional Services team. You will manage concurrent Fortune-caliber client engagements, lead technical configuration, and coordinate knowledge-management strategies to ensure successful go-lives.

You will pull together internal experts, balance budgets, timelines, and risk, and provide leadership visibility into portfolio health across multiple projects,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• 7–10 years of experience in project or program management for external clients.
• Proven consulting track record and ability to blend technical configuration with knowledge-management and AI/ML concepts.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across a program of concurrent AI knowledge implementations — managing budgets, project financials (margin, utilization), scope, timelines, and risk from kickoff to go-live.
• Automate delivery processes by developing reusable workflows, artifacts, and runbooks.
• Perform hands-on configuration of eGain solutions, including AI-assisted content and knowledge workflows.
• Configure the right mix of internal specialists to each engagement and keep them aligned as priorities shift.
• Provide leadership with portfolio health metrics like margin, utilization, AI adoption, and time-to-value across projects.

As Project Manager, you’re the person who takes ambitious AI knowledge projects from kickoff to go-live, running a portfolio of concurrent Fortune-caliber implementations and keeping every client, every stakeholder, and every deadline moving in the same direction.

The Opportunity

This is an in-office role built for someone who’s equal parts project leader and technical consultant. You’ll sit inside our Professional Services team, running point on client implementations while also rolling up your sleeves on system configuration and knowledge management strategy. You won’t just manage a schedule — you’ll dig into how clients actually use their systems, translate that into a working plan, and lead the people and process that get it there. What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery across a program of concurrent AI knowledge implementations — managing budgets, project financials (margin, utilization), scope, timelines, and risk from kickoff to go-live, without letting quality slip.
• Find the repeatable pieces of your own delivery process and automate them with AI — turning what you learn on one implementation into reusable workflows, artifacts, and runbooks that make the next project faster and easier to hand off.
• Get hands-on with technical configuration of eGain solutions, including AI-assisted content and knowledge workflows, to bring client use cases to life.
• Pull together the right mix of internal specialists — technical consultants, solution architects, and others — for each engagement, and keep them aligned as priorities shift.
• Give leadership visibility into portfolio health — surfacing margin, utilization, AI adoption, time-to-value, and risk trends across your projects, not just status on any one engagement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, required.
• 7-10 years of experience in project or program management, managing projects for external clients.
• A track record of consulting well — able to flex between technical configuration work, knowledge management principles and a working grasp of AI/ML as applied to knowledge management.
• Sharp communication, organization, and multitasking skills — you keep a dozen threads straight without dropping one.

Compensation

• The salary range is $115,000-$125,000 per year.
• Stock options.
