Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking an AI Intern to support the firm's AI and technology initiatives. Under supervision, you will work with the IT team and other departments on AI projects, research tools, and process improvements that align with business objectives.

The role focuses on hands-on experience, learning how AI can be evaluated and applied in a professional services setting while developing documentation and collaboration skills across teams.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university as an undergraduate and pursuing a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in AI, emerging technology, and tech-enabled processes.
• Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and concepts quickly.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support IT AI projects, evaluation, implementation, and use within the firm.
• Assist with research and evaluation of AI tools and potential business use cases.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify AI-enabled process improvements.
• Assist with testing and evaluating AI tools, documenting findings and issues.
• Help develop and maintain documentation, processes, and policies related to AI use.
• Assist with data-related tasks and ensure compliance with security requirements.
