Job summary

You will develop predictive AI models for portfolio risk analysis, perform data quality assessments, and collaborate with Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to translate insights into business decisions. On-site work is required; strong Python and SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Students should be entering Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming term.
• GPA of 3.0+ and official/transcripts may be required during application.
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, scikit-learn, XGBoost and statistical modeling.
• Able to work onsite in Dallas, TX or Franklin, TN.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive AI and machine learning models to support portfolio risk analysis and business decisions.
• Build Early Warning Vintage Monitoring models to improve loss forecasting and risk detection.
• Develop forecasting and planning models for lifetime loss projections and net credit loss forecasts.
• Perform data quality assessments and feature engineering on large datasets.
• Collaborate with Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to translate insights into actionable features.
• Present outcomes and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership.
