Job summary

Nissan is seeking an AI Intern to join the Data Quality & AI team in Dallas, TX or Franklin, TN. You will develop predictive AI models to support portfolio risk analysis and business decisions, collaborating with Risk, Operations, and Technology teams across the U.S. and Canada.

The program is a 12-week full-time internship for juniors and seniors. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a data science or CS program with strong Python, SQL, scikit-learn, XGBoost skills, and a solid foundation in data

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in one of the following fields: Data Science, Computer Science, AI/ML, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive AI and ML models to support portfolio risk analysis and business decision-making.
• Build Early Warning Vintage Monitoring models to improve loss forecasting and proactive risk detection.
• Develop forecasting and planning models to enhance lifetime loss projections and net credit loss forecasts.
• Perform data quality assessments, feature engineering, and analysis of large datasets to identify meaningful risk indicators.
• Partner with Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to translate portfolio behavior into actionable model features and business insights.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, and analytical findings to business stakeholders and leadership.
