Position Overview

The AI Intern will identify, develop, and improve artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that support company goals. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is eager to gain hands‑on experience working with data, AI models, automation tools, and emerging technologies.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities to leverage AI.
• Design, develop, test, and optimize AI solutions.
• Research AI trends, tools, frameworks, and best practices to support ongoing projects.
• Evaluate model performance, identify issues, document findings, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Follow responsible AI, data privacy, and security guidelines in all project work.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools to create efficiencies.
• Basic experience with the Microsoft technology stack.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, manage tasks independently, and collaborate in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• This role requires regular in‑person collaboration with team members at our Chicago Support Center.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance.
