Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks an AI Engineer for Agentic Integrations within Corporate Functions Technology. You will build an integration layer connecting a React intranet to internal AI services and external vendor agents, focusing on secure, scalable Python services and tool definitions.

You will partner with frontend, cybersecurity, and platform teams to enable agentic capabilities with safe execution patterns and robust authentication. Strong Python and API experience required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong Python development skills and experience with APIs.
• Familiarity with MCP and agent-to-agent communication patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain MCP-based connectors exposing internal tools and data sources to AI agents.
• Define tool contracts and versioning for long-term maintainability.
• Develop Python services and REST APIs to broker requests between UI and agent runtimes.
