Role summary/purpose of job

We seek a dynamic AI & Innovation Learning Leader to support our transition into an AI-driven future. This pivotal role involves developing and executing a learning strategy focused on future skills, primarily around Artificial Intelligence and its integration within our business. You will design, develop, and deliver engaging learning programs that help our employees understand, utilize, and innovate with AI technologies. This role is essential for driving our AI transformation and maintaining our industry competitiveness.

You will foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, ensuring our workforce stays at the forefront of AI advancements and their practical applications. Once integrated into the core curriculum, the role will expand to broader future skills development.

Key responsibilities and deliverables

Strategic Learning Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive AI, innovation, and future skills learning strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Identify AI skill gaps across the organization and propose targeted learning solutions.
  • Stay updated on AI trends, technologies, and best practices, translating them into actionable initiatives.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness and ROI.

Learning Program Development & Management:

  • Design and curate engaging AI and future skills training programs, including workshops, online courses, simulations, and projects.
  • Manage the entire learning lifecycle from needs assessment to content creation, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and external vendors to develop high-quality materials.
  • Oversee learning platforms and tools management.
  • Manage budgets related to AI training programs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and experimentation with AI.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration on AI topics.
  • Organize innovation workshops and hackathons to foster AI-powered solutions.
  • Coordinate with leadership to embed AI learning into the broader innovation strategy.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner with People Team, Global Innovation Office, IT, and other leaders to align AI learning initiatives.
  • Communicate AI learning opportunities effectively across all levels.
  • Build relationships with external partners and experts.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress.

Key requirements (Communication/skills/experience)

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing learning programs, preferably related to AI or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts, technologies, and applications.
  • Experience with LMS and other learning technologies.
  • Experience working in a global environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

For roles in NY and CA, Freshfields provides an estimated salary range of $150,000 to $200,000, based on various factors including experience and qualifications. This range is specific to these states and does not account for geographic differentials.
