Job summary

ByteDance's Compute division in the US invites interns for a software internship focused on AI Infra and large-scale cloud infrastructure. You will explore AI training/inference platforms, build prototypes, and share findings through publications.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Master in Software Development, CS, or CE, with experience in LLM-related areas, capable of independent work and collaboration in cross-functional teams. Rolling applications and health benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in LLM training/inference or AI infra areas (training, inference, simulation, RL, synthetic data).
• Ability to work independently and complete projects end-to-end in a timely manner.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to convey technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop technologies for AI Infra stack, including training and inference platforms and AI Agent infra.
• Build prototypes to verify functionality and performance of key components.
• Share research findings and products through academic publications.
