Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/ Master’s in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Able to commit to a 12-week internship during Summer 2027.
• Experience coding in Go, C++, Python, Java, or C#.

Responsibilities

• Assist in making ByteDance's AI-driven scheduler smarter for workload placement and balancing.
• Explore methods to extract more usable work from hardware through smarter compute/memory/power usage.
• Build tools to help a global platform run reliably and increasingly self-manage, including AI-agent-assisted automation.
• Participate in intern-specific learning programs, workshops, and social events to support growth.
