Job summary

Cognitioworld seeks a hands-on internship in Seattle to assist in drafting AutoCAD drawings, rack layouts, and cabling documentation. You will support data hall design documentation, asset tracking, and revision management while aligning with engineering standards.

The role offers exposure to data center infrastructure, capacity tracking, and collaboration with engineering teams. Ideal for students/professionals pursuing engineering, IT, or CS degrees who want practical experience in AI

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, CS or related field.
• Basic understanding of data center or IT infrastructure concepts preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Visio or similar drafting/documentation tools is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and updating AutoCAD drawings and rack layouts.
• Support data hall design documentation and asset tracking.
• Help maintain design standards and project documentation repositories.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and update design records.
• Assist with preparing project reports, diagrams and technical docs.
• Learn data center concepts including power, cooling, cabling, and AI cluster environments.
