Job summary

Sanmina Fremont is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role you will assemble complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems powering next-generation data centers, following blueprints, drawings and diagrams with precision.

You should have strong hand-eye coordination, a technical mindset and a commitment to process improvement to help us deliver high-quality systems on schedule.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of related production, electro-mechanical assembly or technical experience.
• Practical experience with calibrated instruments such as calipers, torque wrenches, gauges.
• High school diploma required; associate or technical degree preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering prints, schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations by following blueprints, engineering drawings, diagrams, or verbal/written instructions.
• Safely and skillfully operate hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
• Initiate and suggest process improvements to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Multitask and prioritize workload to meet production deadlines under supervision.
• Perform in-process visual and mechanical testing to identify defects.
