Job summary

MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer III or IV to support the deployment, integration, administration, and sustainment of a secure AI as a Service (AIaaS) environment on the AETHER AI platform.

This AI infrastructure and platform engineering role covers compute, virtualization, storage, operating systems, networking, NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, containers, and enterprise services in a government-facing setting, with RMF requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or technical equivalent in a related field.
5+ years in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or systems engineering.
DoD Secret Clearance ability or higher; current clearance preferred.
Hands-on experience with VMware, Linux/Windows servers, storage, and containers.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, integrate, and maintain AI infrastructure across compute, storage, virtualization, and OS.
Administer NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, including drivers and CUDA/NCCL, and optimize performance.
Deploy and support containerized AI services with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Rancher.
Integrate AI services with enterprise storage, networking, authentication, and identity systems.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, GPU, container, OS, and platform issues.
Support AI workload deployment, workflow orchestration, testing, production rollout, and readiness.
Develop technical documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and configuration docs.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, AI, and platform teams to meet RMF requirements.
