Job summary

Distyl AI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to own how we build, test, secure, and release software. You will drive scalable pipelines across AWS, Azure, and GCP, focusing on reliability, security, and developer productivity.

This hands-on role requires 10+ years in infrastructure roles, strong Python and Linux skills, and experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, and secure software supply chains. Hybrid work with 3+ in-office days in San Francisco and New York.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software infrastructure, SRE, or related roles.
• Experience enabling engineers with reusable tooling and automation, with validation and access controls.
• Experience owning production build, test, and release infrastructure across services and teams, including versioned release bundles.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of build, test, release, and coding-agent infrastructure.
• Standardize repository conventions and reusable build/test workflows for reproducibility.
• Release engineering to promote versioned bundles with traceability, testing, and security gates.
• Provide developer tools and workflows to reduce toil and improve productivity.
• Implement software supply-chain controls, SBOMs, and secure dependencies.
