Job summary

Databricks is hiring an Infrastructure & AI Platform Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) focusing on AWS. You will advise enterprise customers on architecture, cloud infrastructure, and AI deployment patterns for the Databricks platform on AWS.

The role blends deep technical work with strategic pre-sales execution, including model serving, vector databases, and cost/performance optimization. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive technical wins in competitive cycles, and work with Python,

Qualifications

Strong live coding, debugging, and solution-building skills in Python and SQL.
Experience in cloud infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer work.

Responsibilities

Guide strategic customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks on AWS.
Architect compute/networking infrastructure for AI/ML workloads and GenAI apps.
Design secure AWS deployment patterns and identity controls.
Automate Databricks environments using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
Drive technical wins in competitive sales cycles and provide product feedback.
