Job summary

Nexxa.ai is seeking a security/compliance leader to own certification programs and the security posture across AWS/GCP. You’ll drive evidence collection, policy refresh, and audit readiness while collaborating with auditors and internal teams.

You’ll remediate findings in infrastructure as code, IAM, and pipelines, and harden CI/CD, software supply chain, and cloud controls. This is a hands-on, high-impact role.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in security engineering, infrastructure/platform engineering, or a closely related technical role.
• Broad competence across security, networking, and operating systems with depth in at least one area.
• Hands-on in security fundamentals, networking, Linux, and cloud infrastructure beyond the console.
• Strong scripting or automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).
• Strong writing ability for control narratives, runbooks, and audit responses.
• CS/CE degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the certification programs (SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001) and associated evidence collection and audits.
• Triages security findings across cloud posture, code scanning, dependencies, and secrets.
• Remediate issues in infrastructure as code, IAM policies, and pipelines.
• Manage identity and access across cloud and SaaS, including SSO/federation.
• Support internal IT operations while keeping human costs flat as the company grows.
• Interface with external auditors and customer security reviews.
• Build guardrails and automated controls into CI/CD and software supply chain.
• Debug production issues across AWS/GCP, containers, and networking; write postmortems.
• Produce runbooks, control narratives, architecture notes, and audit responses.
