Job summary

Viking Electric, a proud member of the Sonepar group, is seeking an AI Implementation Specialist in Minneapolis. You will lead the rollout of AI tools, design AI-powered workflows, and establish governance with IT and security to ensure responsible use.

The role offers a base salary, a 10% incentive, and a full benefits package. You will train associates, measure ROI, and stay ahead of AI developments to drive real business impact across our supply chain.

AI Implementation Specialist

Location: Minneapolis Minnesota or Open to all Viking Electric locations
Department: Supply Chain
Reports To: Director of IS and Business Process
Annualized Base Salary: $67,000 - $95,000

*Compensation for this position includes base salary, 10% short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.

In this newly created role, you'll identify opportunities to leverage AI, build practical solutions, train associates, and help establish responsible AI practices across the organization.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• Experience developing, implementing, or supporting software solutions, or a degree in Computer Science.
• Experience using AI tools and prompt engineering techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
• Experience creating documentation, procedures, or training materials.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally.
