Job summary

Embedded Shishya is seeking English-speaking Image Quality Evaluators based in South Korea to support AI training and evaluation projects. You will review images, assess quality, and provide English descriptions while considering South Korean culture and local context.

Applicants should reside in South Korea, be able to work as an independent contractor, and have a suitable setup (bank account, reliable internet, and a computer).

Qualifications

• Currently residing in South Korea.
• Legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in South Korea.
• Have a South Korean bank account in your own name to receive payments.
• Have lived in South Korea for several years and have strong familiarity with Korean culture and local context.
• English: C1 level or above.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed guidelines.
• Laptop/desktop and reliable internet connection.
• Previous experience in AI, data annotation, transcription, QA, or content evaluation is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review images and assess their quality according to project guidelines.
• Identify issues such as blur, poor lighting, noise, exposure, compression, and framing.
• Evaluate visual content with awareness of South Korean cultural and local context.
• Accurately describe and interpret images in English.
• Maintain high accuracy, consistency, and productivity.
• Flag unusual cases or data-quality issues to the project team.
