Job summary

Okta is seeking a Product Architect, AI to define how Auth0 and Okta lead the market in agentic identity and secure AI development. This senior, strategic role works across product, engineering, security, and developer relations to shape technology direction and practical capabilities for AI-native identity.

You will translate fast-moving AI and identity trends into durable platform capabilities, engage with customers, and contribute to standards and open-source communities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in product architecture, technical product management, or platform leadership.
• Experience building AI-powered applications or agentic systems used by developers.
• Deep expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, workload identity, and delegated authorization.
• Strong understanding of secure API, data, and service access in distributed systems.
• Familiarity with MCP, agent-to-agent interactions, tool invocation, and agent identity concepts.
• Proven ability to translate evolving AI/identity tech into concrete product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve Auth0's strategy for AI agents and agentic applications.
• Shape product and technical strategy for agentic identity and delegated authority.
• Define approaches for exposing protected resources to authorized agents.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate opportunities into product bets and platform capabilities.
• Help design core identity capabilities for agent-to-resource and agent-to-agent interactions.
• Develop perspectives on standards like MCP and related authorization frameworks.
• Stay ahead of AI landscape and articulate implications for customers and strategy.
• Engage directly with strategic customers to understand needs and validate direction.
• Collaborate with Security, Legal, Privacy and Trust teams for compliant implementations.
• Represent Auth0 and Okta in developer communities and open-source efforts.
• Build prototypes and reference implementations using Node.js, React, Python, and Go.
• Mentor others and document architectural patterns to raise technical standards.
