Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a senior technical leader to own RFP responses for AI/HPC GPU cluster opportunities. You will design GPU-based solutions, coordinate pre-sales activities, and mentor engineers across teams to ensure feasible, high‑impact architectures.

You will stay ahead of AI infrastructure trends, collaborate with hardware, networking, and software teams, and contribute to compelling technical content for customers.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, solution architecture, systems engineering, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting.
• Familiarity with Python or other scripting language and infrastructure-as-code for design support.
• Familiarity with datacenter networking, high-speed interconnections, transceivers, and fiber form factors.
• Strong knowledge of high-performance networking for AI clusters (InfiniBand, RoCE, Day 0/1 protocols).
• Knowledge of liquid cooling, CDU, high-density rack design, and power/cooling constraints for AI data centers.
• Experience with large-scale AI training/inference workloads and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical ownership of customer RFPs/RFQs and responses for AI and HPC GPU cluster opportunities.
• Design AI cluster solutions based on NVIDIA and AMD GPU hardware platforms.
• Analyze requirements and develop complete cluster solutions including compute, networking, storage, power, cooling, and management software.
• Design and deliver technical presentations, POC or demos that articulate Lenovo's competitiveness in use cases.
• Mentor and lead junior RFP participants and sales engineers on solutions and architecture tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to validate proposed solutions and ensure feasibility.
• Develop best practices, templates, reference architectures, and sizing guidelines for faster responses.
• Stay current on AI infrastructure trends, GPU roadmap, networking, liquid cooling, and software ecosystems.
