Job summary

Together AI in San Francisco is seeking a soon-to-be graduate for a Hardware Security Engineer role. You will work on securing AI hardware stacks, including server and accelerator platforms, device identity, and cryptographic foundations.

You’ll implement tooling in Python or Bash for telemetry, drift detection, and incident response, and help ship designs and test plans rather than slides. Summer 2027 graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in EE, CS, SE, or related field, expected by Summer 2027.
• Foundations in computer architecture, OS, networking, embedded systems, or digital logic.
• Strong Python or Bash skills.
• Some exposure to building AI-assisted applications.
• Preferred: security projects or internships, plus hardware bring-up (JTAG, SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, Ethernet).

Responsibilities

• Harden AI hardware stack including server and accelerator platforms.
• Develop controls and tooling in Python or Bash for telemetry, drift detection, and incident work.
• Create and test designs and plans to validate hardware security features.
• Collaborate on firmware update paths, device identity, and hardware-backed cryptography.
