Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking an AI Hardware Architect to lead the design and analysis of next-generation AI hardware, including GPUs and chiplets. You will collaborate across disciplines to optimize microarchitectures, memory systems, and power/security features for scalable AI workloads.

The role requires a Master’s in CE/EE and 8+ years of related experience, with strong coding skills and knowledge of LLMs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience building high-performance microarchitectural structures and with bus protocols.
• Clear understanding of performance, power and security implications of microarchitectural features.
• Strong coding and algorithmic thinking; good understanding of LLMs.
• Publications or other evidence of original chip/system architecture work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on groundbreaking GPU and CPU systems; identify areas for improvement.
• Study applications and models running on NVIDIA hardware and their architectural implications.
• Develop microarchitectural solutions for connectivity, coherency, power management, security, memory access and other SOC-level issues.
• Drive implementation of bus, networking, memory access and security across products.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, platform and multi-functional teams on system architecture.
• Model, analyze and explain performance and power advantages of NVIDIA solutions.
• Guide customers and firmware engineers to extract maximum performance from microarchitectural structures.
