JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an AI Governance Senior Associate to support the Strategic AI Governance and Enablement (SAIGE) team in tracking governance metrics, valuations, and strategic initiatives.

The role involves partnering across functions to gather inputs, develop executive-ready materials, and drive workstreams with clear ownership and milestones. You will synthesize data, develop dashboards, and convert data into actionable insights while staying current on AI developments and governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 3 years of applicable experience in data governance, data management, data visualization, data analysis, strategy, or project management.
• Strong Excel knowledge with Pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
• Ability to develop advanced data visualization and presentations.
• Capability to define metrics, evaluate results, and design improvements.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and lifecycle management; willingness to learn.
• Proactive self-starter with initiative.

Join the Strategic AI Governance and Enablement (SAIGE) team, turning data into actionable insights. The SAIGE team is dedicated to driving operational efficiency and advancing the firm's AI/ML objectives through governance workflows, monitoring, and reporting.

As a AI Governance Senior Associate on the Strategic AI Governance and Enablement Team, you will support the tracking of firmwide governance metrics, financial valuations, and strategic initiatives, leveraging KRIs, KPIs, dashboards and analyses. You will be part of a dynamic team partnering across functions to gather inputs, develop executive-ready materials, and move workstreams forward with clear ownership, milestones, and deliverables.

Job Responsibilities

• Synthesize data from a number of different sources to ensure compliance with governance standards and frameworks.
• Develop reporting, dashboards, and materials that support governance metrics and financial valuation reporting.
• Convert data into actionable insights and leverage data visualization tools to effectively tell a story.
• Partner with stakeholders to help identify opportunities to improve governance workflows and data inventories.
• Manage projects with a strong project management mindset by clarifying ownership, stakeholders, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Identify, propose and implement improvements to further automate reporting, governance processes and tools.
• Extract and wrangle data from various sources using Excel, Alteryx, and/or SQL.
• Stay current on the latest AI advancements, emerging governance practices, and integration technologies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 3 years of applicable experience in data governance, data management, data visualization, data analysis, strategy, or project management.

• Driven, and eager to learn – someone who takes initiative rather than waiting for direction.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Advanced analytics experience with preferred knowledge in one or more of these tools: Alteryx, SQL, Python, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration, including influencing stakeholders and working with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards impacting AI/ML technologies.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities.
• Curious about AI, emerging technologies, and how it impacts businesses and people.
• Master’s degree in related field (e.g., Data Science, Analytics, Business, Public Policy, or related).
