Job summary

RED Global is seeking an AI Governance Manager for an initial contract through year-end with extension potential. The role is 100% remote from Spain, with priority for candidates in Spain or nearshore resources aligned to Spanish hours.

You will define and govern the AI governance office, lifecycle, and forums, collaborating with delivery teams to ensure responsible AI practices across models and ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI Governance Office charter, scope, mandate, services, boundaries, and interfaces with delivery and control functions.
• Define governance RACI, decision authorities, forums, cadence, and workflows for AI domains (generative, RAG, GPAI, models).
• Establish the AI lifecycle and governance gates from request through deployment, monitoring, changes, and retirement.
• Define governance forums structure, terms of reference, purpose, members, quorum, meetings, escalations, inputs and outputs.

On behalf of one of our key partners, RED now has a new opportunity for an AI Governance Manager to join a project with excellent opportunities for extension.

This role offers a flexible working model:

100% Remote: Priority for candidates based in Spain, with openness to nearshore resources willing/able to work Spanish working hours.

Responsibilities

• Define, establish, and maintain the AI Governance Office charter and scope, including its mandate, services, boundaries, and interfaces with delivery and specialized control functions.
• Define and maintain the governance RACI matrix, decision authorities, forums, oversight cadence, and specific workflows for predictive AI, generative or multimodal AI, RAG, embedded AI, agents, multi-agent systems, GPAI, foundational models, and frontier capabilities.
• Establish the common AI lifecycle and governance gates, from initial request and procurement to preliminary risk classification, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, material changes, suspension, and retirement.
• Define the structure of governance forums and their terms of reference, including purpose, members, decision mandates, quorum, meeting frequency, escalation mechanisms, and required inputs and outputs.
