Job summary

Unity Technologies seeks an experienced AI Governance Lead to design, implement, and oversee privacy-centric governance for AI development and deployment. The role reports to the VP, Deputy General Counsel, Privacy & AI Governance, acting as Framework Owner and process architect across Product, Security, Legal, and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will drive policy development, risk management, data governance, and transparency initiatives, ensuring compliance with international AI laws

Qualifications

• 7+ years in privacy, compliance, or governance roles.
• 3+ years focused on AI or data-centric products.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Program Governance and Policy, and establish ethical standards and guidelines for AI development.
• Manage AI Incident Response with AI-specific triggers and regulatory reporting lines.
• Oversee AI Risk Management and define a standard risk taxonomy.
• Establish Data Governance Standards for dataset governance, labeling, bias assessment, and data quality.
• Maintain documentation templates and update retention schedules for AI records.
• Advise on security, and ensure models meet accuracy metrics and compliance standards.
• Drive AI accessibility and ensure UI/outputs meet legal standards.
• Implement Quality Management and monitoring for AI design, testing, validation and post-market oversight.
• Manage disclosures language and timing for AI-generated outputs in UI with Product.
• Uphold AI Ethics and contribute to the AI Ethics Board.
• Advise on contractual provisions and pass-through terms for High-Risk components.
• Handle regulatory filings and deliver role-based AI policy training.
• Coordinate specialized legal analysis with co-counsel.
