Job summary

License LinkUp LLC in Los Angeles invites graduates to join as an AI Software Engineer / Full-Stack Developer on a 1099 contract basis. This is a hands-on role teaming with founders to build AI-powered features and automate platform processes in a hybrid setup.

You will work on AI agents, data extraction, and web app enhancements using Python, Django/React, and REST APIs. Candidates should have AI project experience and a GitHub portfolio; remote arrangements may be discussed.

Qualifications

• This role requires hands-on AI experience with LLMs and API integrations.
• Proficiency in Python and building web applications are essential.
• Understanding full-stack development, databases and REST APIs is required.
• Experience developing AI agents, automation tools or workflows is expected.
• Ability to work with existing codebases and collaborate effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative with independent work capability.
• A portfolio or GitHub repository showing real projects is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered functionality and intelligent workflows to automate platform processes.
• Build a new Deal Requirements Board feature with AI-assisted data extraction and matching.
• Support enhancements across the web application and backend services.
• Improve broker matching, search capabilities and service discovery.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual tasks and boost efficiency.
• Assist with testing, integrations and performance improvements.
• Explore emerging AI technologies and propose practical product applications.
