Precise Software Solutions, Inc. is seeking an AI Full Stack Developer to design, build, test, and operate secure AI-enabled applications for the U.S. Government. You will lead testing, evaluation, and AI-specific security testing to ensure releases are accurate, safe, and production-ready.

This hybrid role requires 3 days per week on-site in Washington, DC (DOL HQ). U.S. citizenship or GC is required and public trust clearance is attainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on full-stack software development across front-end and back-end Technologies.
• 1+ year delivering Generative AI capabilities (LLM integration, RAG, embeddings, vector stores).
• Strong proficiency in Python, plus JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework (React/Angular).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Cloud experience on AWS/Azure/GC with containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Secure coding practices and federal security requirements.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance; USC or GC.
• Willingness to work on-site in Washington DC metro area; hybrid 3 days/week.

Position Summary

Precise Software Solutions Inc. is seeking an AI Full Stack Developer to design, build, test, and operate secure AI-enabled applications for the U.S. Government. You will also play a lead role in testing, evaluation, and AI-specific security testing so that every release is accurate, safe, and ready for production.

This is a hybrid position- will require 3 days a week on site in DC (DOL HQ). Must be USC or GC and able to obtain a public trust clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance AI-enabled full-stack applications, from accessible front-end interfaces (Section 508 / WCAG 2.1 A and AA) to back-end APIs, services, and workflow automation.
• Build Large Language Model (LLM) integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, vector search, and agentic AI workflows, including Model Context Protocol (MCP)-based tools, with prompt engineering, retrieval quality controls, and human-in-the-loop oversight.
• Plan and execute functional, performance, and AI-specific testing, including adversarial testing for prompt injection and jailbreaks, and evaluate outputs for accuracy, hallucination, bias, and safety.
• Build and maintain CI/CD and MLOps pipelines with security scans and Test, Evaluation, Verification and Validation (TEVV) gates across all environments, and prepare release artifacts.
• Monitor production AI systems, perform root-cause analysis, support incident response, and provide scheduled helpdesk support.
• Contribute to Responsible AI documentation, such as model cards and impact assessments, and keep code, prompts, and documentation in Government-approved repositories with full traceability.
• Participate in two-week Agile sprints and in code and prompt reviews, using AI code assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) under the same review and security gates as hand-written code.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
• 5+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience spanning front-end and back-end technologies.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience delivering Generative AI capabilities, such as LLM integration, RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, or AI workflow orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in Python, plus experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework (e.g., React or Angular).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience developing on a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automated testing and with evaluating AI output quality (accuracy, relevance, hallucination).
• Working knowledge of secure coding practices and of federal security requirements.
• Experience building interfaces that conform to Section 508 / WCAG 2.1 A and AA.
• Experience working in Agile teams using Git and Jira.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder).
• Must reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and be able to work on-site at Government offices.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field and 7+ years of software development experience, including support of federal agency programs.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks, open-weight model serving, and vector stores.
• Experience testing AI systems for security vulnerabilities (e.g., prompt injection) and with Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation.
• Generative AI or Machine Learning certification (e.g., Microsoft Azure AI, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, or NVIDIA).
• An active Public Trust or prior federal background investigation.
