Job summary

AI Fund in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Senior Associate Builder to rapidly prototype ideas, validate demand with users, and translate feedback into market signals for partners and founders.

The role centers on frontier AI, hands-on coding with GenAI tools, and shipping MVPs while collaborating with elite founders. Compensation includes $185,000–$225,000 annually plus long-term incentives such as carried interest and virtual shares.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building GenAI applications.
• Experience as an engineer, product manager, or in go‑to‑market.
• Hands‑on experience building GenAI applications, such as LLM calls, RAG, agentic workflows, and evals.
• Ability to write scrappy, disposable code for a fast prototype and clean code when it needs to last.

Responsibilities

• Identify, shape, and validate new company ideas with partners and founders.
• Build prototypes to answer the open question about an idea.
• Put prototypes in front of users, run user research, and turn feedback into market signals.
• Support partners and founders during the 12-week Build with hands‑on product design and go‑to‑market work.
• Present what you learned to the team and potential founders: what worked, what failed, and what they need to decide next.
• Stay at the frontier by reading papers, model cards, and technical writeups, and fold what you learn into the next build.
