Job summary

Cole Engineering Services (CESI), a By Light company, seeks a motivated Intern to help design a web-based interface for a cloud-native platform that manages AI workflows. You will contribute to front-end development, UI components, and API integration under guidance from the engineering team.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, familiar with HTML/CSS/JS, React or Angular, and eager to learn in a collaborative, Agile environment in Orlando, FL.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with experience in front-end development frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience with responsive software development and design principles.
• Entry level understanding of AI/ML.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement a user-friendly web-based interface for the platform.
• Develop high-quality, responsive, and interactive components using modern web dev tech stacks.
• Work with existing backend services to integrate capability, ensuring seamless data exchange and API interactions.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to the improvement of the codebase, and maintain high standards of coding quality.
• Develop and maintain documentation for the components, ensuring that it is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to the development team.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure that the front-end aligns with the company's visual identity and design principles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, working closely with the development team to resolve any technical challenges.
